Gordes France

Do not miss this place! Gordes France is a dreamy hilltop village in the heart of Provence. Spend time wandering around the alleyways, enjoying the views from above the valley, and eating the best croissants! Seriously, the best croissants of my entire south of France trip were from a little bakery in Gordes!

Lavender and Sunflower fields of Valensole France

If you can visit Provence during the lavender bloom, do it! it can vary slightly depending on the weather but is usually in July. I was there in the first week of July and it was perfect! Tip, get to the fields before sunrise to capture the beauty with fewer people!

Avignon France

Located on the banks of the Rhone river in the heart of Provence this is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. In the 1300s Avignon was the home to seven Popes! You can visit the Palais des Papes, where the Popes resided- pictured below.
