Free Workout Plans

As I write this most of the world is stuck at home and all gyms are closed. How to stay healthy and active while being quarantined? Thanks to the internet there is no shortage of free workout plans and paid App options. If you’re reading this at a later date, after all the COVID-19 crisis, these are still a great resources for at-home workouts. My list includes free workout plans and subscription based plans. Workouts from Apps and on YouTube.

Let’s start with the Free Workout Plans:

Chloe Ting- She has loads of great at home workouts on her YouTube. From full-body, booty and abs- which I have personal been sore from! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCgLoMYIyP0U56dEhEL1wXQ

MadFit– So many workouts! Including a low impact workout uploaded recently. From her YouTube, “An intense full body, fat burning, HIIT style, at home workout! No equipment needed, but the use one 1 dumbbell will increase the intensity.” https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpQ34afVgk8cRQBjSJ1xuJQ

Whitney Simmons– @whitneysimmons on IG. I have been following her for a while now and love her workout videos on Instagram(IG). These workouts are good if you have some equipment, weights, but she has recently been posting at home workouts including a 25-minutes at-home workout on her YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEQi1ZNJiw3YMRwni0OLsTQ

POPSUGAR Fitness– While they do have a subscription based App they have tons of free workout videos to follow along with at home on YouTube. From beginner workouts, dance, 30-minute and target area workouts. https://www.youtube.com/user/popsugartvfit

Psyche Truth– Yoga and lots of it! From beginner yoga to Power to yoga for pain relief. Check out their channel for more. https://www.youtube.com/user/psychetruth

Let’s get into some paid workout plans:

Kayla Itsines Sweat App- I have been doing this one for over a year and love it! Just take a look at her following and the community she has built and you will want to be apart of it. She has her signature BBG plans that start at beginner level and go up to Stronger(more gym based). She also just updated beginner to make it even more home friendly. $19.99/month

Workouts for Women: Fitness App- This App has won many awards and has high reviews. Features are: short, effective workouts, beginner friendly, voice and video instructions, customized daily workouts and multi-week workout programs. $4.99/month, $25.99/year or $6.99/month, $59.99/year

Daily Workouts Fitness Trainer App- Free version features are ten 5-10 minute targeted workouts, 10 30-minute randomized full-body workouts, 100+ exercises, on-screen instructor and timer. Paid version has 390+ workouts and more options like Pilates, kettlebell, stretch and more. 

Nike Training Club App- Workouts for all levels including body-part focused workouts, strength, endurance and yoga. 15-45 minutes workouts. No equipment to full equipment. Time-based and rep-based options. And much more! $14.99/month, $199.99/year 

There are so many options out there to get you moving and exercising at home. I hope this inspires you to get moving!
